Welcome to Butterchurn Bed & Breakfast, licensed cafe, bar and beer garden. Situated on the A696, a natural stop en route to and from Scotland. We are ideally positioned to explore the sites of Northumbria and the Scottish Borders. Approximately 30 miles north-west of Newcastle Upon Tyne on the banks of the River Rede, Near golf clubs at Rothbury, Hexham and Bellingham and Rothbury with Bamurgh, Warkworth, Foxton Dunstonburgh and Seahouses, Slaley and Matfen not too far away.

All guests at the B&B have all day access to their spacious rooms and can relax in the comfortable residents lounge. licensed cafe, bar and garden. The breakfast menu contains a number of alternative breakfast choices, there is the traditional full cooked breakfast or the lighter continental breakfast.
